Key features to consider when buying a fuming chamber:
- A one-piece, seamless door gasket is mandatory to ensure fumes do not escape.
- The humidifier must be outside the chamber or it will become covered in glue.
- The door must be safety glass so glue can be scraped off without causing scratches.
- Coffee cup warmers do not provide consistent levels of heat and results will vary.
- Misonix guarantees the filter will last for 500 uses.
Our Fuming Chambers are fully automated fingerprinting
systems. The CA-3000 and CA-6000 are ductless units providing humidity
control, a heat source, internal circulation fan, microprocessor
controls and a carbon filtering system to capture the hazardous fumes
produced while developing fingerprints. Our patent-pending
re-circulating design ensures that no harmful fumes are returned to the
environment.

CA-9000
The CA-9000 is a high volume, stand alone fingerprinting
chamber. Designed to a government agency's standards, this model is for
departments that must process large amounts of evidence on a regular
basis. Large items such as doors, tires, bicycles and tents are
regularly processed in this unit.
This models offers the same functionality as our smaller,
table-top versions except for one feature - the CA-9000 can be either
ductless or ducted to the outside. We are able to customize the
dimensions of this model to meet the needs of your particular
